The final moments of the 2018 televoting, when Austria was still in the lead (After winning the Juries vote), however, both Cyprus and Israel had yet to receive their points. And just for the “fun of it”, in front of thousands of fans in a state of panic and hysteria, one of the hosts jumped the gun and mistakenly announced that Cyprus was in the lead, which only added some more fuel to the fire.
This is by far one of the most nail biting finale ever, and it is a good reminder of how much we love the new voting system!
