Team Netta

Netta Brazilai has won the honor of representing Israel at the 63rd Eurovision Song Contest. Born and raised in Israel, Netta, now 25, was the winner of the fourth season of the reality singing competition HaKokhav HaBa l' Eirovizion ('The Next Star For Eurovision'). On May 12th, 2018, Netta won the Eurovision
Contest after a nail-biting vote. Thanks to Netta, Israel
has now won the contest four times. Netta now joins the
very prestigious club of Israeli winners which also includes
Izhar Cohen (1978), Gali Atarti and Milk and Honey (1979),
and Dana International (1998).

 

An overnight sensation

Netta sang in Lisbon her song TOY which became an overnight sensation, and within its first two weeks, since it was released, gained more than 7 million views on YouTube! Her clip and performance on stage at the Eurovision Song Contest was watched more than 140 million times in less than a year. In summer 2018, it became the most watched Eurovision clip on Eurovision.tv YouTube channel, and it is also the most watched Israeli
video clip ever.

Eurovision 2018 in Portugal

The 63rd edition of the Eurovision Song Contest is taking place this coming May in Lisbon, Portugal. For Portugal, this is the first time they are hosting the show, after their sensational victory back in Kiev in May 2017 when they won the Eurovision song contest for the first time. The two semi finals are taking place on May 8th, 10th, and the Grand Final will take place on May 12th.
